Hi, I’m Lina
In my professional life, I work in a world of data, risk analysis, and logic. It’s a space that constantly reminds me how much we all instinctively want to trust one another. But seeing the complexities of human behavior every day has also taught me something deeper: when the world feels loud or unpredictable, the most valuable thing we can have is a safe, peaceful space of our own.
For a long time, I felt like I was a little “all over the place.” My life moved through cycles of high energy followed by moments where I needed to retreat and recharge. As an introvert, I’ve often felt like I was navigating a world designed for extroverts—a world that doesn’t always make space for quiet, reflection, and stillness.
I’ve fallen down more times than I can count. But each time, I found myself returning to the same place: my cozy corner of life. Coming home to my partner and my two cats reminded me that growth isn’t about being perfect. It’s about resilience. It’s about learning what truly nourishes us and slowly becoming a little better than we were yesterday.
Why I Created Mindful Cozy Living
Mindful Cozy Living is my outlet for that journey. I’ve taken the systems-thinking and data-driven logic from my career in payments and risk and applied it to the home. I believe that a well-managed budget or a streamlined cleaning routine creates the mental space we need to be creative.
At home, life feels softer and more experimental. Since becoming a homeowner here in Vancouver, I’ve realized that a peaceful environment doesn’t just happen—it’s something we cultivate. I’ve learned to navigate the complexities of managing a home by building systems that actually work for real life. Some days, that looks like solving the puzzle of a messy corner or testing out a new, nourishing recipe in the kitchen. Other days, it’s much simpler—like attempting to outsmart my two cats, Sokka and Katara.
I’m a firm believer in ‘learning by doing.’ Whether I’m perfecting a cooking technique, exploring the local hiking trails, or refining my yoga practice, I approach wellness with a researcher’s heart and a Leo’s passion for growth. Everything you find here is tested in my real, busy life as a professional, a traveler, and a mindful homeowner.
A Love for Travel, Wellness, and Slow Living
I travel quite a bit—sometimes to explore new places, sometimes for work, and often to reconnect with the people. It’s a double-edged sword, but it makes me appreciate my health, my routines, and my cozy home even more.
These days, I’m leaning more into my spiritual side and discovering my own rhythm through yoga, hiking, and climbing. As a dedicated Yoga and Pilates enthusiast, I focus on functional movement that supports a busy, professional life. I’m not a professional athlete—I’m simply someone who wants to feel strong enough to enjoy the activities I love.
And creatively? I’m always curious about what might come next. Maybe one day you’ll find me at a pottery wheel, in a painting class, or even behind a DJ booth.
A Real Space for Real Life
I created this blog to be a space for women who crave a slower, more intentional lifestyle. Not a perfect space—but a real one.
Here you’ll find inspiration for mindful living, cozy home routines, wellness habits, and simple ways to bring more balance and beauty into everyday life. Because at the end of the day, if we take care of ourselves and the people we love, we already have everything we need to thrive.
